FAQ

Here you will find answers to frequently asked questions about the Eurotis world and all our systems
The tubes

All PLT-CSST tubes by Eurotis can always be manually bent without the use of tools. This feature is valid for all available diameters, even for larger ones such as DN32, 40, 50.

To make a flange correctly, accurately, and without burrs, first cut the PLT-CSST pipe with a suitable pipe cutter. The flange must be made with original EUROTIS equipment, specifically: a template and the manual flanging tool, ADAPTOR and XL-ADAPTOR. More details available at: “FLANGING SYSTEM“.

Yes, all EUROTIS fitting systems are full bore.

Yes, but it must always be protected from the sun’s rays (UV rays) when installed outdoors.

Yes. When laying the EUROKLIMA pipe underground, certain precautions must be taken to prevent the insulation layer from being damaged and/or crushed.

To lay EUROKLIMA underground, you must:

  • ensuring a stable, flat-surface installation bedding free of pebbles, stones and any other materials.
  • in the upper part, once buried, the tube must be protected by rigid tubular sheaths or artefacts made of concrete or metal sheet or equivalent materials.
  • the minimum burying depth must be assessed according to road loads and frost danger.
Joining systems and fittings

Yes. The EUROTIS fitting range has, among others, special fittings for PLT-CSST tube connections to copper tubes.

The automatic flanging equipment called ADAPTOR and XL-ADAPTOR and the pressing jaws of the patented E-PRESS system are compatible with 32 kN pressing machines; mini-presses are excluded.
