Connection between a CSST tube and copper tubes

In the connection between PLT-CSST tubes and other copper tubes the tightness is assured through the use of a plane gasket (flanged tube) or double O-ring (not flanged tube) on PLT-CSST tube side and on the other side through the compression of a brass ogive (for copper tube conform to EN 1057 R220 “annealed” or R250 “half hard”, an additional reinforcement bush may be necessary).

Through M/M junction fitting with a ISO 228 G male thread (with plane end for tightness on plane gasket for flanged CSST tube and female thread nut) and a seat for brass ogive (copper tube side).

To connect each other a CSST tube and a flanged copper tube with nut, on the CSST tube shall be positioned a simple screw (for example to join a DN 12 CSST tube to a De 14 copper tube) or a reduced simple screw (for example to join a DN 12 CSST tube to a De 18 copper tube).

Through M/M junction fitting with tightness on O-ring (CSST tube side) and a seat for brass ogive (copper tube side).

Through F press-fitting ISO 10226 R, welding on the copper end the male thread fitting.
