Shell Fitting

Shell Fitting is the new patented connection system, made entirely of stainless steel, for Eurotis PLT-CSST corrugated tubes ranging from DN 32 to DN 50.

The system is based on a new range of shell (clamp) fittings enabling fast and secure connections without the use of tools, simplifying installation even in complex application contexts.

IDEAL FOR CENTRAL HEATING SYSTEMS AND INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES

The system, made entirely of stainless steel (including nuts and bolts), guarantees high resistance to corrosion and excellent resistance to high pressures and thermal stresses. Is is therefore ideal for central heating systems, industrial facilities, and all water applications that require high performance and long-term reliability.

EASY INSTALLATION

The Shell Fitting system does not require the use of any special tools or equipment for assembly. Tube-to-tube or tube-to-threaded fitting connections are made by inserting the pipe ends into the gasket, positioning the clamp over the corrugation, and tightening the screws and nuts until the clamp is fully closed. This ensures quick, secure and reliable fastening.

The system, combined with the Eurotis PLT-CSST formable tube – which can be bent by hand even in large diameters – does not require the use of curved fittings, thereby significantly reducing installation times.

MECHANICAL SEALING

Mechanical sealing is ensured by the direct connection between the clamp and the corrugated steel tube. This prevents the tube from being scored or distorted during tightening, preserving its integrity and helping to reduce pressure drops.

HYDRAULIC SEALING

Hydraulic integrity and a high level of system safety are ensured by the PEROX EPDM seal, which has been specifically developed for Eurotis PLT-CSST tubes and is suitable for the conveyance of drinking water.
