AISI 304 stainless steel PLT-CSST tubes with low thermal insulation 8 mm
SolarPRESS new line is composed by PLT-CSST tube in AISI 304, thickness 0,3 mm with red color low thickness thermal insulation in expanded polyurethaneand covered with red roof color mechanical ware and UV protective film.
SolarPRESS tubes are avaible in:
- mono version without electric cable;
- mono version with electric cable;
- coupled version with electric cable that can be separated easily and can be handly bended to make easier the laying of the line both inside and outside the buildings. The electric cable is included in one of the tube for an immediate identification of delivery and return of the plant.
Thanks to the lower thermal conductivity (λ = 0,030 W/m K) of the flexible expanded polyurethane used as insulating material in the SolarPRESS tubes by Eurotis, it is possible to reduce the thickness of the insulation to 8 mm compared to the value of 13 mm of the traditional insulating materials such as expanded EPDM or NBR while retaining the same thermal resistance (that is the ability to limit the heat losses that reduce the energetic efficiency of the system).
Thus it is possible to reduce size encumbrances, facilitating transport, handling and installation even for high lengths of the coils.
